How Long has Leader Logistics Group been in business?

Leader Logistics Group was started as Avra Warehousing in 1992 as an outsource resource for local Michigan companies. As our clients began to grow and their needs began to diversify, so did we. It was not until recently that we changed our name to more accurately reflect what we offer our client.

As our name encompasses what we offer, there are two key elements that differentiate us from our competitors. They are Leader and Group. Leader signifies that we are ahead of the pack, leading and creating innovative ways to help our clients increase productivity, reduce overhead expense, minimize unneeded labor wages, and help them focus on their business. Group includes with our clients and staff. The only reason we are in business is due to our clients needs and our staff’s quality.

Are your facilities heated?

We have numerous locations to serve our clients diverse customers needs. Several locations are heated and sprinkled with food grade capabilities while other locations are not heated, but offer dry and dependable storage. We have facilities that meet the specific needs of our clients.

Do you provide reverse logistics?

Yes, Leader Logistics Group offers a comprehensive returns processing and reverse logistics program. We provide inventory  check in, quality inspection, inventory adjustment and any other services that our clients need to be successful.

How quickly do you process orders?

We process all orders within a 24 hour period from the time of receipt (normal business days). All orders received before noon are processed and shipped the same business day.

Do you have any relationship with other major motor carriers?

Yes, most major LTL and TL carriers along with UPS and FedEx are at our facility daily.

Describe some of your clients.

Our clients define us as their "Third Party Logistics Company". We serve numerous Fortune 500 companies, nationally and internationally recognized organizations, as well as start up businesses. The services vary greatly from picking and packing 100 consumer orders per day to distributing over 100,000 pieces to businesses like J.C. Penney, Cabela’s, Dicks Sporting Goods, Gander Mountain, and Kohl’s. This demonstrates our ability to handle any size job with great efficiency. Some other industries our clients operate in are in automotive manufacturing and distribution, construction material for industrial and consumers, JIT corrugated distribution, industrial equipment sales, distribution for toys, music, books, clothing, etc.

What are your hours of operation?

Our normal office hours are 7AM-5PM (EST). Since we operate 24-7 we do provide our client’s with after hours contact information.
